CO2 | Climate Alert!
Carbon dioxide CO2 is the primary greenhouse gas emitted through human activities, including electricity, transportation and industry. Its concentration in the atmosphere reaches dangerous record quantity.

Carbon emissions from human activity have contributed to a vicious cycle of deteriorating climatic conditions leading to even more extreme global temperatures, greater weather instability, rising sea levels and other nature-based calamities.
Scientists predict that global temperature will increase 4-5 degrees, which would almost certainly take down our civilization. We’ve crossed a barrier that irreversibly changes life as we know it.

- Make your home and household energy efficient.
- Buy energy and water efficient appliances.
- Purchase ‘green’ electricity.
- Walk, cycle or use public transportation.
- Buy local produce and eat less red meat.
- Turn off your idling car engine. That cuts pollution and saves you money.
- Switch off unnecessary lights and equipment, and turn off computers when not needed.
- Recycle, re-use and avoid useless purchases.
