Jack of all trades | I can fix it!
You might think now: ha, Jack of all trades, master of none! But think of it the other way. In a world of dogmatic specialists, it’s the person with multi-tasking skills who ends up running the show. A handyman, a repairman or simply a skilled person who does many different kinds of work and whose job is to repair things. Not a specialist but someone who is talented in fixing all sorts of problems.
As a house owner, you once in a while need a handyman and lucky are those who are able to find someone trustworthy. Remember our dad’s and granddad’s workshop loaded with all kinds of different tools? When something had to be fixed, they could do it in a blink of an eye. And then they became some sort of heroes. They had no fear of the unknown. No sir! They even had the most fun doing it. Their repairs were certainly not perfect but they did the job and everybody was happy.
Just be proud to be a so-called jack of all trades. And be too complex to be categorized. In life we ought to be financier, philanthropist, society figure, physicist, inventor, parent, amateur, dilettante – a contradiction in terms. Now the best you can do is pick your field and master it.
